Our cabin is perfectly located just 11 miles from downtown Blue Ridge, GA, where you'll find an amazing mix of restaurants, charming shops, hiking trails, watersports, breweries, and wineries—all just a short drive away!

Bring your furry friends along! We welcome up to two dogs under 30 pounds with prior approval. A one-time pet fee of $125 (covering both dogs) will be sent separately after booking confirmation.

We often get asked, “Will my minivan or sedan be able to make it up the mountain?”—and the answer is yes! We have a hybrid sedan and have never had any trouble. The road leading up is partially paved, with the final stretch being gravel, but it is well-maintained and manageable. The driveway is long and narrow but can accommodate up to three cars.

Check-in: 4:00 PM – You can check yourself in using the lockbox. Detailed check-in instructions, including the lockbox code, will be sent 48 hours before your arrival.
Check-out: 10:00 AM – We kindly ask that you depart on time so our cleaning team can prepare for the next guests.Need extra time?
Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee, depending on our booking schedule. Feel free to reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Authorized guests: Hickory Point will accept reservations for up six (6) adult guests. Please make sure when booking that your guest count is accurate. If changes need to be made, please adjust accordingly before the beginning of your stay. Unauthorized guests will be at a rate of $75 per unauthorized guest for each day of the reservation.
Early check-ins / Late check-outs: Early check-ins and late check-outs are not available due to time needed for our cleaning team to thoroughly clean following each stay. Thank you for your understanding. Guests that do not depart within 30 minutes after check-out are subject to a $100 late departure fee due to the disruption that this causes our cleaning team and next guests. Guests that do not depart within 1 hour of check-out will be charged for an extra night.
Weather: No refunds will be issued for inclement weather or road conditions. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. We highly recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle during the winter season.
Damage to Hickory Point: Guest(s) are solely responsible for damage(s) to Hickory Point, decor, equipment and/or furnishings or removal of said items during reservation period caused by any member of their party regardless of whether the member(s) is duly authorized (i.e. unauthorized guest or pet) by the reservation invoice. Any damage to any furnishing or equipment will result in replacement expense at cost + 25%.
Parties are NOT allowed. Guest(s) agree that no more than the number of persons listed on the booking confirmation shall occupy Hickory Point premises for the duration of their stay. If Hickory Point is occupied by more than the number of persons stated on the booking confirmation, the result will be a loss of total rental costs for the stay and entire security deposit, additional charges to guest(s) credit card for the non-registered guests and immediate eviction. Guest(s) shall not disturb or offend any neighbors, discharge firearms, create loud or obnoxious noises or use fireworks of any kind. If a disturbance at Hickory Point results in a call to the police, the guests will be immediately evicted and the remaining rent plus an additional $250 will be forfeited.
Theft: Theft of any items within the cabin will result in all costs related to replacing the item(s). Guest will be charged the cost of item(s) +50%.
Indoor Fireplace: The fireplace is for seasonal use only; October 1st – April 1st. Firewood is provided. Real wood burning logs are required if used.
Outdoor Fireplace: Firewood is provided. Lighter fluid is not permitted but you may use Duraflame fire start. Fire pit must not be left unattended until fire is completely out. Ashes must be bagged and disposed before check-out.
Hot tub: We drain and clean our hot tub water after each guest checks-out. Please allow 24 hours for hot tub to reach desired temperature. The owners are not responsible for any injury/illness related to the use of the hot tub. Guests agree to waive and hold harmless owners from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities including attorney fees as a result of this use of premises.
Water & Septic: The cabin is on a septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000. Absolutely No Grease in the Kitchen Sink.
Repairs / Service Calls: The owners cannot guarantee against mechanical failures of domestic water, sewer/septic, hot water, heating, air conditioning, hot tub, TV’s, audio systems, satellite receivers or other appliances. Report any equipment that is not operating properly to Owner promptly. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as reasonably and as soon as possible. Should a repairperson make a call to a cabin and find the equipment in working order and/or the problem was due to Guest(s) oversight, neglect or failure to follow instructions, the cost of the service call will be charged to the Guest(s). All normal maintenance repairs must be reported to the Owner between 9 AM – 5 PM. Emergency repair items (heating, water, etc.) to be reported as soon as discovered. Guest(s) understand and agrees to allow Owner or repair personnel access to the cabin for the purpose of making repairs.
Alcoholic Beverages: Guest(s) agree to abide by state law regarding the possession or consumption of alcohol on Hickory Point premises. Alcohol consumption by minors is explicitly prohibited. Kegs are prohibited on Hickory Point premises. Guest agrees to hold Owners harmless for any liability related to the possession, use or consumption of alcohol by any person in or on the premises of Hickory Point during the entire term of their occupancy.
Pet Policy:
• Up to (2) dogs <30 pounds are welcome as long as the pet policy is adhered to, with approval. There is a one-time $100 fee per stay which covers up to two dogs.
• Pets over 30 pounds are not permitted at Hickory Point.
• Cats are not permitted inside the property.
• Dogs are permitted ONLY with prior approval.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds out of respect for other guests, cleaning logistics, and potential damage.
• Guests agree to be in full control of their pets at all times and take full responsibility for their pets’ well-being. While Guests are away their pet must be secured in a pet carrier and NOT left to wander inside the cabin, screened porch or outside.
• Guests are completely responsible and liable for any damage, caused by their pet(s), to the cabin and its premises during their stay.• Pets MUST BE COMPLETELY HOUSE BROKEN! WELL BEHAVED AND PEST FREE!
• None of the cabin linens or towels may be used on pets.
• Guests agree to bring pets’ crate and bedding for their pets.
• Guests will clean up any pet accidents in the cabin immediately.
• Guests will remove their pets’ waste from cabin grounds, deposit it in a plastic bag, and place in outside garbage cans. **Minimum fine for failure to clean up behind pet is $50.
• All dogs are to be flea and tick free. We will retain your deposit for flea treatment if fleas are found after your stay.
• Should damage to the cabin, grounds or furnishings (including linens) or flea infestation occur, the guest is responsible for said charges up to and beyond the security deposit.
• Do not leave dog food out inside or outside the cabin. By booking through this platform, you are consenting to all items listed under the "House Rules.”

Bedroom and laundry: washer and dryer, towels, bedsheets, soap, toilet paper, hangers, extra pillows and blankets, iron, clothing storage (closet and dresser)
Entertainment: TV, arcade games, books and reading material
Family: fireplace guard, board and arcade games
Heating and cooling: air conditioning, indoor fireplace, ceiling fan, central heating
Home safety: exterior security cameras (only at the front door), smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit
Internet and office: wifi and dedicated workspace
Kitchen and dining: cooking basics, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, dishes and silverware, stainless steel stove and oven, hot water kettle, drip coffee maker, wine glasses, toaster, baking sheets, blender, BBQ utensils, and dining table
Location features: private entrance, water access at the base of the mountain
Outdoor: private patio or balcony, fire pit, outdoor furniture, charcoal BBQ grill, private hot tub and hot tub essentials
Parking and facilities: free parking on premises
Services: pets allowed, self check-in, and lockbox
A security deposit hold will be placed on your card before your stay. If any damage occurs during your visit, the cost of repairs will be deducted from this deposit. If everything checks out, the full amount will be refunded. Payment for your stay will be charged in full 24 hours before check-in.
We provide a washer and dryer for guest use, as well as starter supplies of toilet paper and paper towels (one roll per bathroom/kitchen). If you’re planning a longer stay, we recommend picking up extra paper products at the grocery store.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils, and we have a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided). While we do not supply cooking oils, spices, or condiments, past guests sometimes leave extras behind—so be sure to check the cabinets before heading to the store!

We understand that plans can change, so here’s what to expect if you need to cancel your stay:
Full refund if canceled at least 30 days before check-in.
50% refund if canceled between 7 and 29 days before check-in.
No refund if canceled within 7 days of check-in.
